#atoz challenge - 4/21/2017 - "Changes"

R is for Roscoe, our newest traveller
We started out fulltiming with our yellow Jeep, but it didn't take long to figure out that the Jeep was not big enough for our needs.  We had to nearly throw the dogs into the backseat and there was no s  pace for groceries and the like.  So, while in Tampa for the big RV Show, we traded the Jeep in for Roscoe, our 2005 Chevrolet Silverado.

We've put some money into him - running boards were a necessity for this vertically challenged writer.  Some repairs and it looks like we've got a great tandem.  Roscoe's even gold, to match Louis!
We hope that you enjoy this blog and take the opportunity to read other parts about our travels.  You can click www.our-simple-life.com to read all about our adventures!

We started towing a car in 2006 and when we went shopping our criteria was the cargo area had to be big enough and TALL enough for our German Shepherd dog. Ended up with a Honda CR-V, towable 4-wheels down, and it now has 117,000+ miles driven and anothet 120K TOWED.

The CRV is what I wanted and hubby wanted a Jeep. I gave in :) But we both love Roscoe.
