G is for Garmin, our RV GPS
Picture
When we decided to to take the plunge into fulltiming, there were several tools that we felt were absolutely necessary for us to be safe and feel secure.

One of those first tools was our Garmin GPS.  It is designed specifically for RVs and helps one avoid low bridges and other areas that an RV should not go.

We knew we had made the right choice last Spring.  In Massachusetts, Maggie, as we call her, took us on a roundabout way to our destination, one we couldn't figure out at first.  When we got to our destination, there was a covered bridge that would have forced us to turn around.

Some tools are absolutely necessary.  What is the one thing you can't live without?

I love my Garmin! I didn't know there was specific software for RVs. That's cool.

We have used multiple Garmin GPSs over the years. Our is called "Claudia" ans she has saved us from low bridges on a NY Parkway. She has also taken us on "adventures" via railroad tracks and levee berms where no RVs should ever go!!! Love your posted sign. Thanks for sharing. -- CoolJudy

Great sign showing Lost and Very Lost! I love my Garmin and use it all the time. Very cool that they have one for RVs to avoid low obstructions!
