This year was a little more involved than last. In addition to the usual services, we also got new tires, as well as a couple of upgrades.
This past winter, we looked at the possibilities of maybe trading this rig in. But after some searches and rude awakenings from dealers, we've decided that no, we won't trade Louis in. Every rig we looked at, whether new or used would have meant that we had to compromise on something and we weren't willing to do that. Louis has everything we could ever want, especially now.
We've always hated our gas stove because of the way it set down. It was impossible to keep clean. My dream had always been to get an induction stovetop and that became a reality this year.
The other part of our kitchen that we disliked was the sink area. We have one deep sink on the left and the right one was so narrow and shallow that we couldn't even fit a plate in it. Since this was our dishwashing sink, we always struggled to get our dishes clean.
In addition to our induction stovetop, we also got a dishwasher. Some people have asked why do you need a dishwasher in an RV? Well, most of you have a dishwasher in your home, and this is our home. With all the sink difficulties, it made sense to us to upgrade what wasn't working for us. And we couldn't be happier. I did lose my pots and pans drawers, but I managed to unclutter and make room in my pantry for them.
Below are pictures of before and after:
