Blogging something new constantly can be difficult when the well seems to have dried up. Coming up with new ideas and fun things to write about is not necessarily easy as pie. Bloggers like to help each other come up with new topics and new challenges to get the creative juices flowing again.
One of these challenges, which has been around since 2010 is called the A-Z Challenge. The premise is to use the month of April and come up with a new blog post every day except Sundays, starting alphabetically. I've done this challenge before, using different themes.
My friend, Donna, who is a wonderful author, encouraged me to do the challenge again this year, after a couple of dry years. She is also a traveller and gave me my idea for a theme - CHANGES. What changes we've had this past year! Selling our house, moving into our RV, Dave retiring, and us hitting the road as nomads. So, beginning April 1, I will add a short post every day, starting with the letter "A" through "Z", all to do with our whirlwind year.

Adventure - Our nomadic lifestyle makes every day an adventure. From cozy days laying in the sun to planning our next trip to making new friends, and even helping in a police chase! Not everyone would like the kind of lifestyle that we've chosen, but not having responsibilities and never knowing what the next day holds? It's the life we love. We're sitting here today, snug in our motorhome while the rain begins. What are we doing? Discussing where we want to be next winter! Will it be Florida? Texas, maybe? Arizona? Who knows. But we do know that wherever we end up, it will be filled with adventure!
BABIES (Fur, that is) Has anyone else noticed that our furbabies are the beginnings to many friendships? No matter where we are, at home or on the road, having our furbabies along always opens up conversations with strangers.
We have two; our little Chihuahua, Chacho, who loves people but is just starting to socialize with other dogs. As long as they're not bigger than he is.
Sage is mine. She's a pug/chihuahua mix and she has been my heart and soul since the day I got her. We are inseparable.
One of our babies who has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, Quincey was a rescue from a local rescue group out of Knoxville. We knew that he had been born in the rescue and had siblings. We went to one of their reunions and found his twin sister. Yes, Quincey had a twin sister. They looked alike, acted alike. Out of that chance encounter came a wonderful friendship that I treasure to this day. Additionally, we ended up having our own reunions with the siblings. We had wonderful times and are friendships are strong to this day.
