D is DH, a common acronym among RVers, standing for Darling Hubby
Picture
DH - Rvers, as all groups do, have their own short hand when communication with each other.  S&B, for example, stands for Sticks and Bricks, our house, for those who have one.  MH stands for Motorhome.  One of my favorites, though, is DH.  It stands for Dear Husband, or Darling Husband, or, sometimes Darn Husband.

I have been so very fortunate in my life to be married for 30 years to my best friend.  When we decided to fulltime in our RV, people wondered how we would get along in such a small space 24 hours a day.  I'm happy to report that it's not been a problem, yet.  We enjoy being together, we enjoy sitting outside around a campfire, or riding our bikes, or seeing what this country has to offer.  We're foodies, so we like to try new regional dishes wherever we go.

Communication has greatly improved, necessarily.  We can't argue and go to our separate rooms.  We've had to learn to discuss and resolve issues before they become big ones.

What communication methods work for you and your partner?

We hope that you enjoy this blog and take the opportunity to read other parts about our travels.  You can click www.our-simple-life.com to read all about our adventures!

We share your Rvers lifestyle and understand the jargon. We attend a lot of RV rallies and one of my favorite presenters has been Kay Peterson, co-founder of the Escapees RV Club. She does a great, humorous talk on "living in a shoebox" with lots of information about communications.
My #atozchallenge is also about RVing. Check it out at http://www.coolrvers.blogspot.com
