One of the great things about Dave is his mechanical abilities. One of the things that have been driving him nuts is the fact that his cruise control on the RV doesn't work. So, he started watching You Tube videos and learning how to take apart the steering wheel column and replace the clockspring.
Taking off the steering wheel is not as simple as it sounds. It took Dave a week, lots of different tools and a can of WD-40 before he finally managed to work the steering wheel off. So now, it's wait for the new clockspring, which is due tomorrow. I sure hope Dave remembers how to put it back together!
